Heading home from a week in San Francisco, which - punctuated by a two-day case of the Yuqqs - was all in all wondrous. Saw friends, had a marvelous cultural experience, renewed acquaintances with relatives, and stopped in today at a dealership because I had a headlight out. You know, one of those high-intensity babies. Not cheap, but they're also inaccessible.
Was handled swiftly and courteously by a service advisor who not only found the personnel on a short-handed afternoon but also performed the service under warranty, and sent me out the door happy and feeling safer on dark roads. Whatever they pay him, it's not enough. His name is Paul Stortz, and he works for Hanlee's Hilltop Toyota. Give the man a raise.
It's been a great week. Now, just need Angels to guide me safely home, so I can get ready for my jaunt to San Diego in a couple of weeks.
