Home at last

Very tired, but most grateful to be back in my own home, with my own bed waiting for me. Stopped to see medotter at an amazing ranch in Spring City - see their website at http://www.windwalker.org/. Itadakimasu!

Took mum out for dinner tonight. She's living in a senior community and doesn't get out much, so she really enjoyed the evening. We went to Shogun, a local Japanese eatery, and she had a bento box with veggie and shrimp tempura and gyōza. I feasted on sashimi and a couple of delightful natto rolls. Yes, delightful. Get used to it.

Mum had a large flask of sake and went home tipsy, proclaiming to all and sundry that I was her son and that she had never had such a wonderful time. It was nice to see her happy.
