Uff! Finally got this uploaded - YouTube doesn't like MPEG2 format, so after trying MPEG4 with unsastisfactory results, I reverted to WMV, which gave me the quality I wanted.
In 1998, our family took a trip to Europe, and spent a week in Ireland - one of the things we took in was the Waterford crystal factory in Kilbarry (near Cork), Ireland.
Sadly, the factory is no more. Economics drove someone to make a shitty decision, and the dedicated people who worked there found themselves out of a job. Subesequent protests led to a settlement with the parent company, but the factory remains closed.
It was a miracle to watch these blobs of molten silicon turn into works of breathtaking beauty. I can only hope that someday the powers that be will re-open this factory and put these good people back to work.
