A reminder for Netizens

My friends are dropping like flies. Ragnar Fyri, a long-time internet acquaintance from Norway passed away suddenly, and I only found out about it through one of my online communities. He will be sorely missed.

The event, however, prompts me to post this little reminder. I had thought about it before, but when my wife mentioned it independently some time ago, I took that as a confirmation that it should be done sooner than later.

My last instructions to my loved ones, kept alongside my Last Will and Testament, includes this little section:

In the event of my unexpected demise, please do me a favor and notify my friends around the world by posting messages in the following places. They would wonder if I suddenly went quiet. I learned of my Godfather's passing 5 months after the fact, and that was nasty - I don't want that to happen to people I care about.
