That's some clear and commendable thinking IMHO. If only more people thought things through as much as you clearly have.

So many people vote the same as their parents simply for the only reason that their parents have a particular point of view.

Politics is a touchy subject, but I feel it is something that SHOULD be discussed (as long as it can be done rationally).
