Writer's Block: Cold turkey

[Error: unknown template qotd]
It's been 41 years since I conquered demon tobacco. And gave up coffee. And liquor. All at the same time. Geez, what's left?

*chomp gobble snarf gobble burp

I could stand to lose some weight...

That must have been a rather unpleasant moment!

I applaud you on the Tobacco kicking. and I am proud of you for staying away from it.

I'm keeping the coffee and my booze though. :-)

Maybe a jog every once in a while?

One habit I need to form is sitting up straight in my chair.
(or, if you'd rather, a bad habit I need to break is not sitting up straight in my chair)

Good for you for quitting all at once. But dieting is probably harder than quitting any of those. You can't go cold turkey on all foods.

If I count early childhood habits, then there are too many overcome ones to list. I'll mention one from adolescence, tho: I would mumble a lot and express annoyance when asked to repeat. Now I speak much more clearly and am patient on the rare occasions that I have to repeat.
