Second spam comment in the same thread in two days. CAPTCHA enabled for anonymous commmenters, but it still got through. Looks like it's coming from the same location in the Netherlands - suggestions by friends include a spoofed IP address or an unwitting part of a botnet. Very annoying, to say the least. No idea how to stop this hqiz from showing up in my journal.

I've also received one suspicious comment, and I've blocked all anonymous comments.
(you can change it in your journal settings, changing Enable Comments to Registered Users)

Oh, also because LiveJournal supports authenticating comments from any form of OpenID, somebody could even use their Gmail account to post comments, so disabling anonymous comments isn't really that big a deal.
