Writer's Block: A Little Light

[Error: unknown template qotd]
Well, duh. It's far too cold for light to exist in its gaseous state. Any light entering the freezer from the outside condenses on the racks as a solid... a lightbulb would simply add to the thickness of the encrustation.

I always assumed, in seriousness, that manufacturers didn't want to compromise the coldness with a warm bulb.

Alternatively, maybe they don't want you to take out anything frozen when the kitchen is dark. You could drop some ice and not notice until you slipped.... Okay, that's a stretch.
