Wall∙E

Just finished re-watching this beautiful show. Pretty little Eve is mine forever.

This is one of the best movies in recent times! Though there's a few questionable morals, it's a brilliant movie.

Questionable morals? In Wall-E? What am I missing? Or are you referring to the unethicality of the Buy n' Large directorate? Image

no, that's a pretty clear moral lesson by example rather than a deficiency.

I was thinking about the two robots and the captain making the on-the-fly grand scale decision of returning for a life of work for the entire population rather than any kind of democratic discussion :-P A minor point for a story but all they had to do in the story was show an example of mass support or something.

Great movie though!

Dang, you know I hadn't even considered that? I just figured that the life they had was so worthless that it was a no-brainer they'd want to go back to all the hardscrabble realities, but you make a good point. One big Hoo-RAH would have taken care of that...

Yeah far better to assume that the HOO-Rah! happened off-screen than to stress about it hehe

You know people; no matter how good something is for them there's always some pillock at the back that rant and raves about it.
