Interesting.... which movie have you in mind? Snow White and Pinocchio were hand animated (even the shadows!) to an extent even Disney would go today. Although there's a roumor that Disney are "correcting" colours on new DVD prints of old animations because the colours on the cels did not- never could- match the colours in Technicolor prints. However; Disney used, apparently, to have charts in Ink&Paint showing the differences so that compensation would have been made pre-shooting. Quite a correspondence on the Amazon Disney discussions!
