Creole Ratatouille

I mentioned some time ago that I had this dish at the Café Orleans in Disneyland. Just getting around to posting a pic, but it doesn't do the dish justice.

For the most part, the food at Disneyland is what you would expect from a theme park. This restaurant, however, has insanely good food. The combination of this ratatouille and an onion soup as authentic as anything I have ever had in France made this a lunch to remember.

The preparation in the movie, I've read, was invented for the movie by a real chef.

I'm guessing that due to it being a traditional and provincial dish the recipe is somewhat...flexible. Such as Damper or Bubble'n'squeak

I think you're right, Secoh. If I had a gozillion dollars, I'd go on a world-tour, sampling each variety as I could find it. :)

Just when I think I'm well travelled I find something new to try. I shall endeavour to track down some ratatouille in at least a couple of variants now!

My love of food and drink is both a blessing and a curse. And you know, I don't mind at all. :)

You must sample my Banquet from Hell. You've already got one under your belt - Vegemite for an Ozzie equals "free space".
