Speculation reaches fever pitch.

Pawlenty has indicated that he's not McCain's veep choice. A source very close to Mitt Romney told Washington Wire that the former governor of Massachusetts had no plans to be in Ohio today. And last but not least, CNN reported that Alaska governor Sarah Palin has just arrived in Ohio, where McCain is to announce his VP pick today.

So would Palin be a good veep? Has she been a good governor? And how do you feel about having her a heartbeat away from the Oval Office? Alaskawolf, what's your take?
