Writer's Block: Sweet Tooth

[Error: unknown template qotd]

Gotta be the plum pudding at Christmastime. Either with the white sauce, or served plain and flaming...

Christmas pudding is for Christmas only?
since when?

I have a number of superannuated puds here... since Niece can't eat fruit, we don't get puddy at Christmas (not that the last few Cristmasses have been overly merry anyway FWIW)

Well, then, by the silken breast of Mogg's mother, invite me over and let's scoff the lot! Image

Now bring us some figgy pudding
Now bring us some figgy pudding

And bring it right here!

We save the last Christmas pudding to have at Easter ;)

If you're ever over here at the right time of year drop in, you can sample my great grandmothers recipe, I've never known anyone who hasn't scraped the bowl clean, even those who "don't usually like this kind of thing"

Well, you know I'll come anyway, pudding or no. Working on ways to get over there for a visit sooner than later...

For me, it's probably candy canes, followed by candy corn. My real favorite sweets aren't holiday-specific.
