I have to admit the "pictures" are creepy looking, but in the enlargement I can plainly see photoshop-type artifacts around the protruding "tongue".

I think the biggest clue by far that gives the game away is the "news" source being The Sun. The Onion and The Chaser are far more accurate and far less made up than The Sun.

Yeah, over here we have The Enquirer, the Globe, and others. (Trapped in a Cave for a Month with 18 Sex-crazed Dwarves! Woman Gives Birth to Self!).
