London gives "Avatar" a Thumbs-Up

It appears that the world premiere of "Avatar" in London has been a smashing success. Naturally we won't know how this plays in Peoria until next week, but it bodes well that the noise from the UK has been so favorable.

Drooling on my keyboard as I type this...

Take a peek at SFX magazine (Oi subscribe so I get mine without all the words cluttering up the cover... you can see that the middle letter is Foxtrot not Echo)they have some smashing pix of NeyTiri of the Na'vi.... seeing her looking so gloriously feline made me want to see that other pic she's in... what was it... oh yeah, Star Trek. When this is out next week I'm up the Odeon fo'sho. The trailer viewed in 3D on the big screen.... OH YESOHYESOHYESSSSSSS.

I look forward to seeing if they've upped the price of a seat in the 3D screener above that for Disney's Christmas Carol ... which was displaced from the EMPIRE Leicester Sq to double up with the ODEON at the premiere.

Ooohooohoohoh

I guess you're most fond of X-Men's Mystique when she's in her default form.

Me too.

I'd figured that Avatar would be a general disappointment given the budget and subject matter (it lacks the recognition of LotR and the historical connection of Titanic), but I guess I will see it.

What's this embargo I heard about that some British reporters are flouting?
