The problem with commitments...

is that you have to keep them. Got my 400 envelope labels typed up - now I have to stuff the envelopes with appropriate amounts of game pieces. This has been a huge project, and I've promised to have it back to the owners by 1 September. Should just make it.

Only a couple of times have I asked myself, "Why did I volunteer to do _that_? Then I look into the future and see thousands of people using this tool to discover new things about themselves, and it's all worth it.

The right thing is very seldom the convenient thing.

Power surge took out my cable modem today... foofle. thank heavens for my traveling setup or I'd be relegated to gibbering in a corner, covering myself with drool until the repairman comes tomorrow. Anyone relate or am I all alone here?

Also purchased a ticket to Oslo. I'll be there for 9 days in November, staffing a seminar until the 15th, then have two days before I fly back home. Just a hop, skip and a jump from Asker where a certain Won-Tolla lives... perhaps a meeting can be arranged.

I guess I'll take the opportunity to install my new flat-screen monitor.
