First "paid" job - acting in a commercial with my Mom for Kraft™ Macaroni & Cheese. "Mom, can Billy stay for lunch?" Thank Mogg that was in the days before VCR's!
First "real" job - working as a stockboy and delivery boy (age 15) at Daitch Shopwell in New York City. Pricing cans, cleaning up, lugging lettuce boxes, and hauling groceries all over the city in a 3-wheeled grocery trike. I was small, the groceries were heavy, but the tips were good. First time in my life that I actually had cash to spend that I didn't have to ask for. That part of the job was good.
