What the hqiz causes this?

I've visited every forum I can find out there - most people come back with the dumbass "It's your system" answer, but I've seen so many iterations of this problem, as well as the 30-40 second launch time, that I know it's a bug.

And it frosts my chops, because Firefox has so many good features that I keep using it.

I don't expect an answer... just frustrated when my system slows down to a crawl and FF is slurping up most of my cycles, just sitting there doing nothing.

I have no idea how, but I just became aware of the TYWKIWDBI blog... I think I just lost two years of my life - the stuff these folks come up with is indescribable. Among the items on today's post is this:

Hitler Pissed about Disney's Acquisition of Marvel.

Mogg, this is funny. Even if you speak German...

Juice!

Finally broke down tonight and bought a juicer. We all know that fruits and veggies have lots of antioxidants, and it's a given that one loses a lot of insoluble fiber when juicing, but there are times when fruit or vegetable juice is required, either in a drink or in cooking. And fruit juice, when bought off the shelf, is ruddy expensive.

I happened to be in my local Bosch store checking out prices for meat-grinder attachments for my Bosch universal. They're not cheap - that little delight will have to wait until I'm more flush - but while there I compared the juicers they had available. They had one Omega 1000 which had been returned because the yeast-head who used it pushed too hard on the blade, and it caused it to tilt and scratch the cover a bit. So they sold me a $250.00 machine for $170.00. Later that night, I visited my son and he handed me two residual checks from AFTRA (I still collect residuals from my dad's work, even 20 years after his death. They're small, but these two came to $100.00, paying for over half of the machine's cost. Sweet. Now I can take advantage of produce sales and boost my immune system naturally...

Took the beastie home tonight, cleaned it up and ran a nice carrot/apple/grape blend through - the juicer worked flawlessly, and the machine seems manufactured to withstand a nuclear attack.

I'm immensely pleased.
