Writer's Block: Who's your BFF?

Without naming names, my "oldest" friends are a core of folks I started Nursery School with in 1954, at the age of 3. Several of us have stayed in touch for almost 50 years. I try to talk to them at least a couple of times a year, and now we are at least building a threaded relationship with the group on Facebook.
♫ Make new friends,
But keep the old,
One is silver
And the other gold. ♫
Keeping in contact with people who have meaning for me is one of the greatest joys of my life. I hate to lose touch, and will spend foolish amounts of time hunting for old friends until I have renewed the acquaintance.
♫ Doesn't care too much for money,
Counts his friends, instead of his gold,
He's the king of the shim-sham palace
In the wim-flam kingdom of the Zim-Sham-Bees! ♫
I should be packing...
