R.I.P Robert Gordon Hart
Jun. 9th, 2010 12:58 pmFound out only today that my surviving Godfather, Robert G. Hart of Arlingon, Virginia, passed away on 30 January of this year. I tried calling him yesterday and his phone had been disconnected. A call to his residence and a bit of googling confirmed the sad news.

Bob was a wonderful man, and a good friend. He was closely associated with my mother and father, and he and his partner John Latham were both named Godfather to me when I was a baby. He remained loving and warm to the end, and I'm so grateful I was able to re-establish contact with him in his later years, after having lost touch for a long period of time (not by choice!)
He will be deeply missed.
