Writer's Block: Supersize me

[Error: unknown template qotd]
I will never, ever, ever - worlds without end - do business with Prudential Insurance [ccchhhxxxt - paTOO] again. They cancelled my auto policy for making too many inquiries. Not claims, mind you. Inquiries. It seems that at Prudential, if you ask a question about your policy, that's the same thing as a claim. Because, according to Prudential's [ccchhhxxxt - paTOO] underwriters, if you ask questions, you're more likely to cost them money. And as we all know, insurance companies - particularly Prudential [ccchhhxxxt - paTOO] - are all about raking in premiums and denying claims.

The Laws of Construction

Corollary 42a to Murphy's Law of Construction

When exercising a new skill, say, re-grouting a tiled bathroom, the correct technique will always be found when 4/5 of the job has been done.

Corollary 42b

The correct technique will never be the one they tell you on the box.
