Good books (or short stories) and good movies are like old friends. I love to renew the associations, and discover new things about them that I never knew before. I can't count the number of times I've read Tolkien's trilogy, or The Human Comedy or "The Wind and the Snow of Winter" by Walter Van Tilburg Clark, or E. E. Smith's The Lensman Series or A Christmas Carol or Oscar Wilde's "The Star Child." Or a host of others. The same goes for movies. Every now and then one calls to me...
