Sorry, anonymous posters. I've made comments to my journal open only for members of the LJ community. I won't put up with the filthy spammers. I regret this, because I have some friends who are not LJ'ers and I enjoy reading their comments - but it's a necessary evil.

More Snake Oil: Foot Detox Patches

Mom got a mailer from "Pure Life - Health Laboratories" today, hawking Japanese Herbal Foot Detox Patches. These things have already been landed on hard by the FTC and the medical community, but here's another company trying to rip off the elderly, the uneducated and the gullible.

Sorry, Dr. Yoshinaka. Your claims are outlandish, and your product worthless. I regret that your organization has been reported to the FTC for mail fraud.

Here is an example of the horsehockey that is being shoveled at people to get them to buy this product and others like it.
