Germans at an ultra-nationalist rock concert snapped up free T-shirts bearing nationalist flags and the slogan "hardcore rebels," only to find a very different message after the shirt had been washed.

An open letter to the Obama campaign

Sent back in a Business Reply envelope, to the Barack Obama for President committee who wanted my hard-earned funds.

To whom it may concern:

I voted for Mr. Obama in the last election, and that’s the most valuable thing I have to contribute. Where my vote will go in 2011 will depend entirely on how presidential his behaviour is over the next 15 months.

Don’t even dream of launching a negative campaign against Mitt Romney. He’s a good man, and has the administrative skills needed to pull this country out of its financial mess. If you want to win this election, do it on your own merits, and convince the country that you can do something about our current abysmal situation. I deplore negative politics, and they will drive me away from a candidate faster than anything short of gross malfeasance or issues of moral turpitude.
