Arr, matey! It be the day I be waitin' fer all year. Shiver me timbers 'n scupper me bilge, 'tis almost as fun as me favorite holiday, Hallowe'en. Arr! (Notice me use of the antiquated apostrophe there, mateys, 'tis the only way to be spellin' it correctly. A pirate may be lower'n bilge-water on the social scale, but we don't need to be ignorant, arr!)
So heave to, ye barnacle-crusted land-lubbers and hoist the skull and crossbones - it be Talk Like a Pirate Day!
Th' efficiency expert concluded his lecture wit' a note 'o caution: "ye do not want to give a go' these techniques at home!" "Why not?" asked a scurvy dog from th' audience. "After years 'o not payin' attention, I suddenly noticed me captin's routine at breakfast," th' expert explained. "She made lots 'o trips to th' refrigerator, stove, table, 'n cabinets, often carryin' just a sin'le item at a the hour. 'Hon,' I suggested, 'Why don't ye give a go' carryin' several thin's at once? It'd be much more efficient.'" "Well, did ye suggestions save much the hour?" th' attendeed asked. th' expert replied, "Actually, yarr. It used to take her 20 minutes to get breakfast ready. Now I do it in seven."
