The bottom looks like the love child of the Mock Turtle and the Gryphon. I wonder if the rest is Wonderlandish.

I've never seen anything quite like this, but it does sorta remind me of something my grandpa used to have for disposing of extinguished matches. Is there a removable plate on the bottom for dumping of ashes?
