Seein' medotter...

About to walk out the door to take medotter on a few errands. She's about to depart for points South, meaning really South... she wants to wend her way down to South America, through Mexico, on her own.

If this were Elizabethan England I'd chain her up in a back room and feed her on bread and milk until she was married to a respectable squire who would keep her safe and sound on some well-groomed estate, rather than see her undertake such a terrifying venture, but it ain't... and she's free and well over twenty-one, so I've got no recourse.

May God keep her safe, He's the only one who can.
