Writer's Block: All-Nighter

Not long ago. I was working on this and wanted to get it done before I went to bed. I was tired, but felt good about getting it done.

If by "all night" you mean "until dawn or later," then the last time was my flight to Spain and the subsequent day. I can never sleep on planes.

If you mean "until midnight or later," that happens every week.

Got up at 3 am for a scheduled concrete pour, then went to the usual 9-5 job site. At 5 I was called and told to prepare to go to a midnight pour. Of course right at that time a concrete truck rolled up that some ... gentleman ... ordered and didn't bother to tell me about. Didn't escape till 8, didn't bother trying to sleep. Midnight pour ended at 8 am... and guess what... the 9-5 job site again...

I had words with people at work over that one.
