Not too many solutions here.
* Shirl gets her consciousness raised (not bloody likely)
* Ben gets mad and tells Shirl to find another doctor
* Ben tries to keep the peace and alienates Julian
I vote for No. 2, unless Jenner can pull something else out of his hat.
I'm gratified that I was correct, but I never expected his outburst to be so... so... well, thermonuclear.
