Of all the successful Trek iterations, this was one I could never get into. (I'm leaving Enterprise out, as it wasn't that successful after the first season.) As I've been taking the time to watch the entire series from the beginning, however, I realize that I have been giving an excellent production short shrift.

I didn't actually see many episodes, and it was largely because SWMBOBNA didn't care for it. So time flowed on, and DS9 passed me by. Now, I'm happy to say that I'm rectifying the situation, and enjoying the adventure thoroughly.

Just last night I watched "House of Quark", and was prompted to create this little bit of whimsy, for no one's pleasure ,but my own. But I'll share it here anyway, just for your gratuitous enjoyemnt.

Dang, I miss that show. It was my favorite out of all the Star Trek series, and episodes like this one were why!

Once again today, you type something that Google is no help with. Single White Male... Bastards Or Bitches Needing Amusement?

Haha. SWMBO = she who must be obeyed, from Rumpole's wife in “Rumpole of the Bailey”. I added the BNA: "but not anymore".

Rumpole, of course, was quoting Rider Haggard.
