Someone may have beaten me to the punch on this one, but I don't mind.

I just thought this picture was too cute...

I just dined upon an acorn squash baked up with brown sugar and bacon, both squash and recipe given to me by Dick Nelson, proprietor of Fort Devil's Tower...

One would wonder just what the kitty was doing in there!
(even more puzzling is the fact that it looks fairly comfortable in there, too)

Brown sugar and bacon?

Look at the pic and you'll see a spatula on the floor. My guess is that the john has just been installed, and is dry - and either the kitty got in because it's a kitty, or the photographer put it in there for the photo.

And yeah... bacon. That's what I thought, until I tried it. When I mentioned this over on Facebook, a cousin of mine shared this recipe with me:

In her latest book, The Sweet Potato Queens' Big-Ass Cookbook and Financial Planner, Jill Conner Browne, breaks up her favorite foods into four areas: salty, sweet, fried and cheese.
