The Banned Video

Six months ago I posted a rather informative video on YouTube. I had even read the Terms of Service to make sure that I wasn't contravening any regulations. Unbeknownst to me, there was also a Community Guideline file tucked away somewhere, and someone didn't like it. As a result, my YouTube account had a black mark for 6 months. I complained, and never even got an answer.
I am now back in "Good Standing". But I'm putting my vid here, so all that work doesn't go to waste.
And to tweak YouTube a bit.
Don't touch overhead wires. (14 MB wmv file)

Folks don't realise that th higher the volts, the less you actually have to touch to ground.
Overhead supply at 1k5 DC? I always thought overheads were AC, the UK ones are. Only DC in the UK is 600v or so, supplied via rails.
How does a snuff movie taken at that distance an poor definition cross community guidelines? It's not as though there weren't opportunities enough to stop the playback.

Date: 2010-01-09 10:48 am (UTC)I should have listened.
But, these days, the "Viewer Discretion Advised" is usually put there in jest. Heck, you put that same warning up on puns.
I'm stupid. I should have known you actually meant what you said.
