On October 14, 2009, on my way back from a trip back East for a family reunion, I stopped in to see
lowen_kind. In addition to the excellent company and the obligatory stop at Joseph's Original Cap'n Cat's clam bar urp - excuse me, I got a tour of the CMSL. The train was chartered so I couldn't ride it, but saw it in operation in a number of places, and got to explore it a bit at the terminus.
A wonderful day... all praise to LionKing's hospitality.

Date: 2010-02-27 09:03 am (UTC)Ol' Pensy No 7000 is quite an attractive loco. :) Does she and 1523 have a story to tell?
Is there a version of the videos that includes the locomotive sound?
A trackwork vehicles. I see plenty of those. While service disruptions on my local railway are a nuisance, I do enjoy when they bring mainline locomotives in for the job because it's the only times I hear the rhythm of a diesel rumbling through my district.
