Incorrect. Randall Garrett (http://www.commonplacebook.com/jokes/clone_of_my_own.shtm). And subsequent verses were written by Asimov.

I'd only seen it attributed to Asimov alone, in "Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine" and in Mensa's newsletters. From what I gather after just Googling it, it seems Garrett supplied the first verse, and Asimov the rest, but many sources credit just Asimov.

By the way, at the same time I was reading your reply from this morning, I was watching "Judge Alex" and one of the parties was named Isaacs.
