At 12, it's hard to have perspective. My net worth is currently negative, but I'm healthy, have three absolutely awesome kids, have accomplished a lot of good, and the prospects for the second half of my life are bright and shiny.

I don't know if a pre-teen me would be pleased or not, but I'm immensely satisfied.

I remember some of what I wrote in tenth grade for where I saw myself in ten years. I knew at the time that it was somewhat wishful, but I imagine I'd be a little disappointed. More so for age 12. After all, I still have no books published.
