Astronauts to Obama: You're doing it wrong!

Despite the liberal media's touting of some astronauts' support for Obama's future space plans - notably Sally Ride, an entire host of the previous generation of space explorers make cogent arguments for why Obama - once again - has his head up his ass.

These are some pretty high-powered people who have been there, done that and bought more T-shirts than the average bureaucrat on this particular subject. I don't know what morons Obama is listening to, but I don't like the result. Again.

That is right he's doing it wrong. We need the Constellation program. We need that to get back to the moon, to get back to the space station. Satellites don't magically appear up there.

I've heard good, logical reasoning behind both approaches. The robotic exploration program has given us data impossible to achieve from a mission with canned primates. Since the politics of fear run the country, we will have to wait until China puts a base on the moon, then we can get priority for manned spaceflight again.

At least he's DOING something about it, instead of setting useless or meaningless goals without funding any of them, like someone I could mention.
