Panel recommends that the FDA regulate salt consumption
And the FDA spokesman says that while the agency is not working on regulations at the moment, they are considering the panel's recommendations.

I believe in health. I sell USANA, some of the finest health-maintenance products on earth. My country is in the middle of an obesity epidemic. But I'll be dipped in bees if I allow the government to step in and tell me what I, or any of my neighbors, can and can't eat.
