Culture? America has a culture? Dang, the Ambassador might just go hungry. Seriously, though - we're such a melting pot, there's no real way to nail down a meal that screams "America"! It would be so dependent on region and socioeconomic status.

Kick-ass chili, or some heavenly barbecue, with beer might be good in the south. A hearty diner breakfast is pretty standard farm fare. In the west, it would probably have to be grain-fed beef with mashed potatoes and gravy, followed by apple pie and two cups of clear, hot coffee...

Well, it depends on your definition of 'culture.' :P

And if you have a revolver to reach for......

That diner brekkie looks good to me.

I suppose a California-style pizza is Americanized enough.

Well, if I ate it frequently enough, Poutine might qualify, but as I don't, I'm at a bit of a loss.

The only meal we eat fairly frequently don't really have a name, so much as a description (tomato sauce and pasta), and probably isn't quite Canadian enough.

I suppose Hawaiian pizza wouldn't really count...
