I love strange foods. I don't think I could stand eating bugs, or balut, or casu marzu, but in the course of my travels I've eaten and enjoyed some things that most would find revolting. But there's little that I've bought, made or been served that I couldn't bring myself to eat. Except Preßwurst. By the tuna-scented breath of Mogg's uncle, what an abomination!

I've long admired your adventurousness, and try to remember the new foods you write about in the event that I ever encounter them myself. And if the opportunity ever arises, I'd love to show you in person a few of the exotic delights Japan has to offer.

Lunch for me yesterday included some inago no tsukudani I bought from a nice lady in a Hello Kitty apron who brings it down from the mountains of Gifu once a month, and some homemade ika no shiokara. Neither tastes particular like chicken.

I think I'm with you on casu marzu, though!

From my own perspective, scrambled eggs. I have little tolerance for the smell of yolk, let alone the taste.
