Wave Goodbye

Google Wave, the PL/I of information sharing software (i.e. it tried to be everything to everyone), has gone the way of the dodo. When it came out, I took one look at it and had a nightmarish flashback to Vignette. And never used it. It appears that most other folks didn't use it either.
Well, Google has any number of smash hits and I'm sure there will be more in the future. Innovation is a risky game, and Google is not known for being tentative about promoting ideas. If only they'd come up with software that would paint my basement ceiling for me...

The fact that the intro video was over an hour long didn't help in any way, either...
