Just acquired by mail a copy of Droll Science, an anthology of academic and scientific humor, compiled by Robert L. Weber in 1987. It's full of wonderful things, some just humorous, others being more targeted slaps at pedagogical bureaucracies, and some making light of scientific pomposity. A true gem.

Cogito Ergo Sum

If I accept as fact, not sham
Descartes' "I think, therefore I am"
It follows that my friends, a lot
Who cannot think at all, are not.

Much of it is available on GoogleBooks, with some sections missing as the copyright is still in force.

Have you seen this '80s book by Tom Weller called Science Made Stupid? Good for making teachers and students laugh.

Cool. I found an abridged version on the net - http://www.besse.at/sms/smsintro.html - I'll have to pick up a hard copy when I get around to it. Thanks for the pointer!

Yeah, my book was mostly postage too - it came out to about $7.00 total. Couldn't pass that one up.
