The reason there is no "Skip this tour" button is that, technically, it's not really a tour. It's a "first-time setup" that asks you to configure its "fabulous new features" et cetera.
And I don't like it either.
Aside from that, though, I actually liked IE for a long while, but then I tried the Firefox 4 beta and never looked back!
As for IE9, don't even get me started. All the reviews I've seen indicate that those guys are making promises and not delivering on them at all. In my opinion, even the die-hard IE fans should boycott 9 and stick to 8, until Microsoft gets the message and learns to do things right. (This is coming from someone who still uses XP, by the way.)
