While I've enjoyed some DVDs of still-running shows, I hesitate to pick a favorite without knowing how they are now. For instance, I dug the first six episodes of "The Big Bang Theory," but it reputedly has taken a turn for the nasty. Maybe I'd be safer saying "Castle."
