This project has been in the news a lot lately, both for its intriguing "Minority Report"-like potential and its unsettling implications.

Today's Dilbert takes another look at where this could go:

The above video set my creative juices flowing, but sadly I don't (yet) have the video production skills to produce the blistering satire that would be possible. I'll just have to wait for someone with more chops to do what I so keenly would like to produce myself.



And yes, if you were wondering, I would use this technology.

I think it would be moving us in the direction of Pixar's Wall-E.

Done properly, it could be a beneficial thing, but I have many doubts.

Personally, I'd rather have that sort of thing in a tablet device so it's not in my vision all the time, as well as to cut down on the "guy talking to his glasses" effect...
