It's been a while since I've been in the city for an extended period. So many memories...


The lobby of my late grandmother's apartment. The family has kept this place since the 40's - rent is still $650 a month as long as they are there. With the exception of a few cosmetic updates, not much has changed here...

Of all the things for that croc to be snagging, they chose a baby. Someone's aiming for controversy.

Glad you got to meet Phil. I've known about GG for years, but only in December did I see enough to know that I love it.

It looks like a baby, but it's actually an adult. All the people in the sculptures have heads that resemble bags of money. This (http://www.tomostudio.com/exhibitions_subway.html) is a better view from the side...

Oh, I see. Not only is the guy's head big, but he's awfully small compared to both the croc and the sewer lid.
