Not bashing what others have, just don't think it's the right road to tread in this country.
If I could get equal care for what I'm paying now, I'd be in favor. What I see happening, however, like any government-run service, is costs going up and accessibility going down.

This is my main point for liking Obama's plans as well.
Yes, we have a compulsory health insurance, yes we have problems due to overhead, yes, they cut down on coverage but took higher rates (Damn you, Ulla Schmidt!). They have plans to reform our health insurance system after the Bundestag election this fall, partly removing the private insurances. We'll see what we get for this, the idea is that the richer and less prone to illness people that mostly went to the cheaper private health insurances come together with the rest in order to make things more fair.
Living without health insurance is one of the major problems I would see in the states...
