Yeah, I second the "yarg" concerning that USB thing. Even the old VGA or 9-pin serial connectors had one side a bit shorter than the other, to make it easier (though only slightly) to put it in the right way up! How hard could it have been to design a round plug that automatically rotates itself into the proper orientation while it's being inserted, or something similarly usable?
Sure, USB is fast and versatile and everywhere, but that connector is just a bad design choice. That's just so... Microsoft!
What makes USB jacks even more annoying is the fact that some of the plugs on the front of computer cases have been put in up side down, making thing even more confused than they need to be...
