It's been 4 years since I had new glasses - and finally was able to get a new pair today thanks to my Federal tax refund. But getting used to my new prescription is making me feel a bit woozy.

I shouldn't complain, it will be nice to be able to see again. Hopefully the adjustment won't take more than a week... I don't want to be feeling on the edge of vertigo as I drive back East.

If the adjustment is anything like mine, it should take about a week. I never used to have trouble with them, but the past two or three prescriptions have been troublesome.

Indeed! Fortunately my subscription is light, but I have had difficulty with that. Last week, I switched from my clear glasses to my non-prescription sunglasses, and felt really funny. I got better almost immediately when I switched to the prescription sunglasses, though the glare from the sun was a little harder to deal with!

Safe driving to you! I'm still sad things worked out the way they did with that trip, but I hope you enjoy it! Give the Kelloggses a hug each from me, and several friendly pats to the right farm critters. :)

-=Kiyoshi, who'll be making another back-east trip himself in late June.

Vertigo back East, or only a few miles?
