Well, against my better judgment but in total harmony with my stated purpose, I have committed to staff a leadership camp for teenagers at the Tyalgum Ridge Retreat (we think that's where it will be) in the vicinity of Brizzbin, in January of 2010. When it's warm down there, and cold up here - perfect time to go. And since I'm making the long journey, I'll be staying a while longer to see a few things and a few people.
Ozzies, mark your calendars and lay in mighty stocks of Vegemite, roo, camel, emu and barramundi. And whatever other strange things you wild and untamed folks eat. Camp's from 1-12 to 1-17, and I'm thinking I'll prolly stay a couple of weeks longer. Maybe we could do a little OzzieCon at some location central to Sydney, Dubbo and Newcastle?
Still figuring out how I'm going to get around. Maybe rent a motorcycle? Ride in the pouch of a roo?
Lots of time to figure that out, while I'm looking for a decent fare to Brisbane and back.
