Lansbury did play Miss Marple in The Mirror Crack'd. It just wasn't a well-received movie.

Hey, there have been bigger bombs with comparably promising casts. Putting all those stars too close together risks an explosion.

Worked in Murder on the Orient Express though. Richard Widmark, who played the victim, agreed to do it so he could meet everyone in the cast.
